With a cast of only five characters, Devil’s choice is a play that asks a simple question: What would you do if you could live your life over again? When a retired actress begins to regret lost chances, an executor of desires appears in the doorway, offering a hell of an opportunity. The only aspect in question is the price. The soul of the old actress seems to be a dubious equivalent of the service that he provides, and he begins to seduce her into "a better deal"... Pretend to be on the edge of life and death.
In general, the main thing is to lure as many participants as possible to this auction. Bargaining turns into a cycle of settling old scores, universal betrayal of loved ones, a sudden awareness of their own flaws and hopelessly, late regrets. The devil suddenly finds himself to be as helpless as his victims. However, hope is not lost until the very last minute. Although it is absolutely clear that with everything happening, it cannot end with anything good. Аnd yet - miracles still happen. There are consequences for whatever decisions one makes. Freedom is about living wisely with our actions and their outcomes, chosen or not. What do you think?
